What we process
We may process normal server/security logs, essential session and cookie-preference data, optional analytics data after consent, outbound affiliate-click events, and information deliberately submitted through provider applications or contact enquiries.
Why we use it
To operate and secure the site, understand which pages and tools are useful, measure outbound provider activity, review provider applications and maintain hosting data.
Analytics
If you click Allow Analytics, we load Google Tag Manager, which runs Google Analytics 4. Google sets the cookies _ga and _ga_* and receives your page views, the links you click to providers and deals, and technical details such as your browser and approximate location. We use this to see which pages and providers are useful. We do not use it for advertising, and advertising storage stays switched off. Google Analytics data is kept for 14 months. Google may process it outside the UK. Nothing is sent to Google, and no Google Analytics cookies are set, until you allow it. You can withdraw permission at any time through Cookie Preferences, which also removes those cookies.
Click counts we keep ourselves
Separately from Google, our own server counts clicks on provider links, deals and adverts, and how often adverts are shown. This uses no cookies and is not linked to you. For each click we store the type of click, the provider, game or placement involved, the time and the page you came from. We use these counts to measure provider activity and to report on advertising.
Provider applications
Company and contact information submitted by hosting providers is retained for application review and future listing administration. Approved providers may later receive portal access.
Your rights
UK data-protection law may provide rights of access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection and withdrawal of consent depending on the processing involved.
