Hosting a Rem Survival server
Rem Survival is a first-person open-world survival sandbox from Immortal Hand Studios, in Steam Early Access since March 2021. Some hosts still sell it under its earlier name, Remnants. You scavenge ruins, craft gear from scrap and build bases while hunger, exposure, radiation and mutated enemies wear you down.
It can be played solo or online in co-op, PvE and PvP, on local or dedicated servers. Clans share base access and items, so a server that stays online keeps your group's progress safe between sessions.
What to compare
- Slots and price. Hosts usually price by player slots, so pick a plan that fits your group or community.
- Save backups. Look for automatic backups and easy restores to protect bases and clan storage.
- Updates during Early Access. The server has to match the game version, so check the host updates promptly after patches.
- Location. Pick a datacentre close to most of your players to keep ping low.
