Hosting a Day of Infamy server
Day of Infamy is a team-based Second World War shooter from New World Interactive, released in 2017. It has nine player classes, seven player-versus-player modes and three co-operative modes against AI, with proximity voice chat and radio backpacks for calling in support.
The game supports the Steam Workshop, which holds more than 1,200 community maps, mods, sound packs and skins. A community server is where you choose which of these your players see.
What to compare
- Steam Workshop support. Check the host makes it easy to add Workshop maps and mods to your server.
- PvP or co-op. Co-op against AI and full PvP matches need different slot counts, so size the plan to the mode you will run most.
- Map and mode rotation. A panel that edits the rotation saves you digging through config files.
- Location. Infantry fights are close and fast, so choose a datacentre near most of your players.
